Replace rear siding quarter glass

Per the parts diagram there is no aluminum frame for the factory solid window...I can confirm this as I removed mine in favour of an access hatch.

Should just be the glass and a seal.

It's easy to do. The only thing I would have done differently is not remove the vent louvre. The FSM states to remove it. IMO, don't do it! Chances are you'll break the brittle plastic where it attaches to the fastener and/or the flimsy gasket will seperate from the louvre. Furthermore the window gasket sits over the edge of the louvre not under it. It doesn't make sense to me.

concur that it will break/snap on the fasteners on the inside

That's right. And I believe it's a different part number for the seal. I've swapped all of my sliding glass with the solid glass and use new rubber seals each time
