some part numbers for genuine compressors don't come with a clutch, just a heads up, not sure if that number does or not.

cupple more options i saved when i was looking for one awhile back, might be worth checking with them and taking a few measurements to make sure it's right.

Radd Cruisers was going to be my next stop to see if they stocked one. This could be it.

And CruiserParts: I wouldn’t buy a used toaster from them. Caveat Emptor.

88320-35H91 is for R12 system. Does not come with clutch.

88320-35H92 is for R134 system. Does not come with clutch.

No thanks.

Great, good to know. I am trying for an R134a upgrade. Which parts house would likely have the 35H92? I could possibly use the clutch off of the compressor (new from Rock Auto) that I already have.

No thanks.

Good catch, they do sell a real Denso too. Denso AC Compressor for HDJ80, HDJ81, HZJ81 - 88320-60560 - https://www.shopraddcruisers.ca/denso-ac-compressor-r134a-10pa15c-88320-60560.html
no doubt getting a Toyota new compressor and clutch from japan 4x4 is best.
I ended up with a used compressor for my swap it was worth it just for the manifold. I'm sure I'll be replacing it at some point. But I wanted to get something on there and get the truck running and driving, ac compressor is easy to change.

I can’t figure out Japan 4x4, is there a better link than searching?

send an email, sales@japan4x4.com

its not like ordering from a parts site, they can help get what you need.
Ok great, thanks Tyler. Once this is all set, I will be in touch for completion of this project (vacuum, R134a fill, leak test etc….) the Radd cruisers compressor looks viable and is $450 USD plus shipping from Canada.

Update……
This arrived. I just need to make sure there is PAG oil already installed and then bolt it in, final check of all connections, final torque and fill system with R134a. Hoping to have some AC while there is some summer still left.

Update! Final Conclusions!
With the help from @TheBussman, R134a was pumped in only to find out it wasn’t taking the refrigerant charge (very slow) and high side pressure wasn’t increasing above around a 100 psi. @TheBussman kept the truck and found out that the expansion valve wasn’t working (seized). Tyler replaced the expansion valve, replaced some (or all) of the old foam surrounding the evaporator casing box, added refrigerant and voila! Nice cold air exiting the vents. I have a blurry picture of the thermometer that shows just under 50F coming out of the vents which suits me just fine. Just in time for fall weather! 😁
A big thanks to Tyler for his help with this project.
The Toyota TSB (technical service bulletin) doesn’t specifically mention swaping out the expansion valve when converting from R12 to R134a. If the expansion valve is original or suspect, probably a good idea just to get a new valve. Really glad to have AC again after not driving around most of the summer without it. 😮‍💨😅
