That's a slick high mount intake. I would say, "no one's going to see those welds" but ya done goofed and posted them on the internet.
Showing what's possible with a $22 roll of Amazon flux core SS wire :). In all serious I could set my MIG up to weld stainless, I'd just need to spend $300 plus on a spare bottle filled with tri-mix gas and a spool of solid-core SS wire. Considering this is the first SS welding I've done since 2023, I'm quite fine with the ugly welds :).

You have any links or videos on how to loosen up that passenger side fender? I get stuck after taking out some bolts and I need to access my hidden cowl snorkle from the top.
We started to loosen it but gave up. The brace just behind the headlight is bolted to the fender, but to access the bolt the fender flare has to come out. We didn't want to mess with that and the potential of breaking clips (or the plastic fender flare) so we just left the outer fender on. It also has bolts just under the hood and probably some in the door jamb as well.

However everything was reachable (at least for this snorkel) with the headlight out and the inner fender plastic liner dropped down.

I have some concern with how this snorkel will function given it necks down form 4" to 3" in the fender, then up to 4" going into the airbox and back down to 3.5" for the intake tube. We'll see if the reduction in flow given the neck-down is balanced out by cooler air in terms of engine performance. If not, I may at some point in the future pull the fender and fabricate a 4"-equivalent metal or silicone tube between the snorkel and airbox. I'm also curious of how this snorkel will change induction noise (i.e., louder or quieter) given it's already louder than stock with the CAI on it.
