How about rear bearings on the 80s? Been thinking of hosting a bearing party sometime soon anyhow.

Oh... and if we want a low key "Tech Night", (maybe before the Christmas Tree Runs) we could watch my copy of Bill Burke's "Getting UNStuck". Good video with good info. (http://www.4x4books.com/bbgus.htm)

Some popcorn, soda pop, and a 4X4 video... what could be better? :hillbilly:

I would like to watch this video at a meeting, Travis.

I've heard good things about this stuff: http://www.rescuetape.com/

Keep a roll in the truck, but haven't had to try it yet.

I keep a roll of this in my tool bag, as well. I wonder if we could do some sort of test with the stuff for a tech night. Maybe test with a sliced inner tube and see if it can be inflated after repair? I am curious if the stuff will really hold up on a busted coolant hose or similar repair.

Here's what's left of Doug's first list:
Trail Side repairs
Battery Welding
Brake replacement
Front Axel rebuild
Valve adjustment

When thinking of a tech night idea, I think we should keep in mind that Justin works really hard and has a little kiddo waiting at home for him.

I'm not sure what kind of trail side repairs we might do for a tech night, but we might want to be specific. The other options on the list are good, but might be tough to do in the time we have available during a meeting.
