Question. I checking over the engine, and I noticed this red corrosion / buildup on this pipe, but have no idea what it is. Can anyone tell me what this is, and what is causing it?

I forgot to mention, it's a 2004 Lexus LX470
Search for "heater T's" for more info. It's coolant that's dried. Change them ASAP, if they crack it will dump all your coolant and you risk your motor.

It's this exactly. Have them be careful when removing the hot-side (driver's side) tee; from the looks of it it'll crumble into pieces, and it's tricky to get all of the pieces out.
