Lol. Like I said, it didn't hit the cab. It fell through the open tailgate and just hit the drivers bed side. Clipped the passenger bed side and knocked it about 3" out of alignment, but I smacked it back in place with part of the tree I just cut

Wouldn't that good for haulin' firewood, but you could always do something like this:
Currently looking for a new bed. The worst part is how much I loved the Japanese style bed that's on it with the rolled rail and tailgate latches. Getting hard to find these days. Found another in the junkyard but its pretty rusty on the back side, but I've been thinking about cutting 12" out and bobbing the bed anyway, so I might give that a thought. The other thought is to build my own M416 style bed and put it on the back. I like that idea because if I shorten it up, I can make the bedsides taller to compensate and still haul a bunch of firewood. It'll still get its ARB bumper, winch, and cammo paint job this summer, getting a little bit sick of looking at that white door...
