Old thread, I know. The cruise control module supervises the brake light circuit. It imparts a small voltage on the circuit. If no current flows the module assumes the brake circuit is not connected and won't function. If LEDs are installed to replace the 1156 lamps you must install ballast resistors at the lens locations. Some of the newer LED 1156 may have a resistor incorporated in them.Fyi
If you swap out the 1156 rear brake lights for leds, some people loose cruise control.

Just transfer the little pin connector off your factory flasher relay to the NAPA one and you're in business. Easy peasy!Perfect, thanks!
