Oh, and we put on of those gentle close lids on it, now I find myself slamming every other can in the house. It's got me spoiled.

We did that too .. nice to have except when you are in a rush and you are waiting it to go down .. which could take valuable seconds ..

I recommend Kohler to my customers. I like the Welworth elongated highline and when extra help is needed a Kohler pressure assist will get the job done. If not Kohler go with Toto. The old generation of 1.6 toilets were garbage. The new ones are pretty decent. I have about 10 3.5 gallon Kohlers hanging out in the back of the shop still in boxes and I have one 5 gallon Mansfield back there if you really want one.

Thanks for confirming that the Kohler 1.6 is complete crap. It's a guaranteed double flush.

Hey there Girlz.....

Been awhile

So Spook as the guys have previously pointed out TOTO are without question one of the best.

They are impressive and this is why. About a year after Cookiemonsterette had me put one in the master bath it became clogged. It would still flush water, toilet paper and yup the junk too. It was just a little slower. After about three days I finally popped it up and that's when I found a full size Lady's Speed Stick deodorant. It was completely lodged in the toilet as it just could make it through the bend.

My vote TOTO.

Sometimes location has a lot to do with it.

My Kohler 1.6 has been proven to work.

I use a s*** ton of those here on campus....all without zero problems. Comes in elongated and regular. Use the same toilet in both bathrooms at home as well.

My favorite feature is just hold down the lever for a better or longer flush.
