Yikes! last I looked, some of the computer models had possible 5"-6"

Reminds me of when hurricane Odile remnants deluged SE AZ in fall of 2014. I was up in the Dragoons for the whole thing, and I bet it rained five or six inches overnight. Tucson got mostly skunked.

I zip tied this gauge to the pool fence right before the hurricane got here.

Mesa-- Gilbert and University area.

Do you use COCORAHS?

The people who report down the block from me are more accurate and reliable than the UofA atmo site

and here's Frankie, best weatherman bar none!

No, I use a rain gauge in my yard.

1 more inch today

I *assumed* you had a rain gauge..... :p

I was asking if you report?

Anybody can sign up to report and the database just gets better with each additional reporter.

Did you look at the map for any neighbors who do report?

With my neighbors and the UofA skycam video I can see the path of rainfall, pretty cool stuff.

One of the few things about the UofA and this s***sack city that is worthwhile, unless you're a marxist or like ripping the dicks off children and murdering babies.....Tucson has that s*** on lock ;)

Check out the two skycam videos (dropdown for catalina view and rincon view at link below) from yesterday if they happen to point at your part of town!

It would be nice if they added a south and west camera, but hey, it's a dry stupid.......

I stopped keeping track, guess I will start again for the new year. 1/2" New Years day.
It has been a crazy transition from fall to winter. All the plants are confused here; we have Iris and verbena blooming (usually spring),
The parasite Dodder is running rampant over the turpentine bush (usually during monsoon), and the apple trees haven't gone to
bed yet. Oh, and the chickens are laying like it's summer again.
