The mirror is useful when backing up. It allows you to see the object behind you and get up and close without hitting it. It is also useful for hooking up trailers.

The rear mirror and the passenger side mirror on the fender are standard on Japanese (JDM) SUVs.

I'm planning to mount rear lights to the wind deflector. If that doesn't work out then I'll remove it and use the holes for the light brackets somehow. Since it already has the holes in the body there are few choices; either leave it on or use the holes for something else.

That rear deflector causes rust just like the roof rack. I wish people wouldn't drill holes in perfectly good roofs and doors.

If you've got one, I'd check for rust under there.
