Hey dudes.

I've got a set of rear upper control arms from trail tailor I'm working on installing. Thought it would be an easy job but not so much. The passenger side rear is in a tricky spot being that the gas tank is molded around the rear arm mount and I'm 99% sure the nut is seized onto the bolt.

Curious to know if anyone has gotten their factory ones off and if they've had to resort to the sawzall.

Pictures attached.

Yes, I replaced mine and you are right, it’s definitely a lot harder and more of a PITA than it looks

I don’t recall any issues other than trying to get a wrench on the nut to keep it from spinning was a royal pain

Was yours seized? I was debating dropping the gas tank to get at it but that's a way too many beers job for me.

Mine was not seized at all and was still a royal PITA

Dropping the tank or lowering it a few inches is pretty easy. That might give you the working room you want.
