I've been doing some research on rear springs for my wifes 86 4runner since I'm starting to build it out and haven't been able to find anything on if people ever use 2nd gen or 3rd gen Tacoma rear leafs in the back of 4runners. Reason I ask is that we have like 3 or 4 stock sets at the shop I work at that are brand new. They're longer than stock so they would likely ride better. Load capacity? Don't know how'd they do with added weight.

I'm not opposed to a 63 swap but the tacoma springs are free.

The springs on the 4runner are stock with an add a leaf. Going to be adding a rear bumper over the winter and a storage deck so it will need to be able to able to hold ~500 lbs of constant load over stock. Running 33's right now

Who's done it, how'd you like it? Educate me please!

I recommend going to 56".(all pro deaver alcan)
Stock Toyota spring(any) suck at load hauling. Tge tacoma stuff is even worse.

What about those you listed vs 63's. I'm not looking for a lot, if any lift from where it sits now and from what I see unless I go with a custom alcan im going to net 3-4+ inches or more with the options you listed
