My US-Spec '94, both PS and DR slide front and back. :)

kyle,

They already have the screens for the 2nd-row windows, but not for the 3rd-row. Toyota had the 3rd-row screens available, but not many of them circulated and since have been discontinued, hence my want of wanting to have them made and offer them (along with the 2nd-row screens) on Mud. :hillbilly:

Good luck with your cruiser search!!

hey thanks for the shots and the info! Those screens are super cool. You said they make them for the second row windows too? Or did you make them yourself? Anyway, hopefully I'll find a truck here soon I've actually spotted a nice LX in GA that is much closer than the one in NM... problem is it's bone stock (with lockers). I'm not really sure what I should do. I also have to keep in mind how I would explain to my mother me buying a high mileage truck that's scratched and dented all over... in place of my newish 4Runner. The only reasons I am considering the LX is b/c it's very clean, much closer, and still very capable off-road as is. I suppose I can always do my mods later and have it more personalized to me, but the fairly built one is very tempting....

This is just my experience. I have owned a 91 4runner and a 97. Both I sold within a year. They were ok, but really didn't feel like much of a truck, and just lacked.... well anything to desire. Just wasn't right. This honestly gave me a bad taste in the mouth when i went looking for a SUV to get me to the mountain and have some fun.....

Tested drove my un-locked '94 80 (didn't know different at the time about lockers), and has been one of my fav. cars.

From the second I drove it was so much more than the 4runner. Dont get me wrong, I like the 4runner and the looks, but I hated driving it.

Mot - both sides of my rear windows slide open to the full extent of the track.

Mike, for you and retrofive, there was a cellphone antenna option on some of the later 80 series. If your cruiser had this option, one of the rear windows on one side did not slide open. That option also had a tendency to develop a leak. Just an FYI.

Both my rear windows slide both ways! I never knew there were so many different types and varieties out there.

My 4-runner rocks, but in a totally different way than my cruiser, they are 2 totally different vehicles, with 2 totally different purposes. The runner can't klimb its way out of its grave, while the cruiser sinks like the zepplin in a mudhole. I love them both, and not like that:D

Thanks for the info 80t0ylc :D did not know that.
