Rear seat latch

Hey guys quick question my rear seat was down when I got the piggies, now I see why. The cable to the latch is broken. How do I get to the latch to release the seat to fix cable

Can you get some vice grips on the cable end?

No it broke down by the latch, I'm wondering if I have to pull the four hinge bolts to get to the latch?

Maybe if you pull the pins to the hing of the seat section it will pivot up so you can get a hand and tool to jimmy the latch free

i just tested mine with the two pins removed i was able to get to the latch.
