Paul, can you open the tailgate without it falling off? That is one rusty rig! I'll post up some pic's of mine in a couple of weeks since there is a little more steel on my truck!

The only difference I see is that the tailgate model does not have a cut for the hinges. We can leave that. I URGENTLY need opinion (firm opinion) on how high you ppl want the piece to be? That is the only thing I need to start making 10 sets which will be complete in a couple of weeks. We are planning on 18G thick steelThe piece in your photos is from an LV with barn doors. In the US and Canada all the LV's were supplied with a tailgate so that part will be a little different with the hinges in it. Hopefully someone can post a picture because I could use that piece but I can't get to my LV for about 2-3 weeks.
Will you also be making the piece that is under the truck across the back? I backs up against the one you've started on there.

Someone??
Thanks.. Anyone else?I don't need any, but from my personal experience, it would have been nice to have equal distance between the top rib and the ridge. That way you stay underneath the taillight.
I hope this helps.

Those look Great!
My LV didn't come with the rear 1/4 pannels and I was fortunate to get some from BMAN.
One thing I wished to have were the wheel wells. I know this would significantly complicate your current design, but I think it would greatley benefit other LV owners to have a pannel that wraps around the corner and includes the part around the wheel well.
Also, to answer how high to go about the crease above the hightest rib. I personally would have liked to get at least two inches higher than the crease.

Damn Dave,
Wished I had thought about that when I was cutting them up. It would've been no problem to cut them a little higher. Live and learn I guess.
I thought this thread was dead... Something is wrong with my acct. Its randomly unsubscribing me from threads.
I am in for 1 Set, both sides.
