Rear Quarter Cargo Speaker Replacement

I have upgraded the stereo in my 1997. Figured I may as well replace that rear cargo area speaker. It has it's own amp. I bypassed the factory amp (at the dash) with the new system. From what I can tell with a tester, power is still coming through the harness to the rear cargo area amp. Using the speaker wires that were connected to the amp harness and out to the speaker did not work on the new speaker which makes sense due to the amp being disconnected. There must be speaker wires in that harness (that connects to the rear amp) i cannot figure out which wires they are. I've searched over and over and can't find any details. Correction, I found a thread with a wiring diagram but it proved to be inaccurate.

But I would run either a powered sub off of the new radio (there are probably some of the under seat options that would fit) or get a small amp and speaker for that location.

Thanks, I am running an amp and sub. Just figured I may as well have that speaker working too.
