rear PROPELLER SHAFT position problem

Which way PROPELLER SHAFT should be fitted? Mine is different way than 2007 diesel model. In mine, sliding side is connected to differential and is exposed to damage. Manual for 2004 petrol model says, it is correct but toydiy.com state different.

Yes, slipjoint goes to t-case.
