Hi all,
I suspect this is what they are supposed to be in the rear bumper, but they are not functional in my 2013 LX. The harness is there in both sides, the lamps reflectors can be seen, but the bulb mounting hole is shut. So the questions:
1. can the lamps be used by opening the hole?
2. can the bulb socket and pigtail be purchased?
3. after all the parts are in place is there any programming needed to enable them?

I searched the manuals (including FSM) and the only mention of these lights are in the "new features". It looks like Toyota has them on other markets (maybe on LC to?) but not in the US.

Thanks

I bet we are missing a switch on the dash too. I’d love to know how they are turned on when the vehicle is equipped with functioning fog lights.

That connector you're pointing at in your photo is the parking sensor, in the bumper.

I enjoy the use of the rear fogs. I find them useful for fogs on-road, but also ambient lighting in camp and as chase/dust lights during the day to improve visibility off-road.

You can re-use the existing housings by adding a socket. There's many bulbs out there that are bright enough to make these lens housings work great. I would sidestep the stock wiring/electronics and roll your own switch as it greatly simplifies and makes the modification more cost effective.

Thanks for catching that. I wasn't paying attention when I took the pic, distracted with the spare wheel work.
I'll take a pic of the actual connector and post back.

That maybe a wise advise. I looked at the install @HRTROB did but the year and market are different and I do not have access to EU wiring diagrams to compare to my wiring.
