Another vote for Slee, custom fit, well built, reasonably priced. Supports a business specifically that services our vehicles, it's industry and our hobby.
Now if they'd feel a little more love for us 4Runner owners w/ a box-etc I'd be in heaven.

With so many places feeling the hurt from this economy, support those that support us I say.

If wanting an alternative, a friend in law enforcement used a set of these, and oddly enough, there's an advert in the Oct/Sept '09 4WD ToyotaOwner Magazine..page #56-58. TruckVault Secure Storage Solutions :: The World's Leading Manufacturer of Secure Vehicle Storage Solutions

Be sure to take a look at the drawer units made by Adventure Trailers too. Lightweight, tough, available in a range of sizes including custom configurations as well as different slide options.

I installed my AO drawers that I got from Slee over 4-years ago. They are certainly tough. The downside: They are really, really heavy! I don't like the fact they do not have a hold open feature. And to release the fridge slide you have to release the drawer underneath it. This all is a non issue unless the nose of the rig is pointed up or down hill...then its a RPITA. I've since modded mine so that the fridge slide at least operates independently of the drawer unit. One other negative: The drawers are not full extension and the drawer pin/locks are not the best application IMO for this particular part.

I will probably eventually off my AO and move up to the AT drawers. There are a couple new features in the works that I have heard rumored...just waiting for that to become a non-rumor ;).

C'mon...give a hint.

I made some for my 01. They have worked really well for my needs. I got the heaviest slides that Lowes had. They work fine, but certainly can be improved. I have a section in the front that holds a ~20 gallon water tank. This makes the drawers a little shorter, but still plenty big. I can remove the whole thing without help, but for the most part, it stays in. With the middle seats down, there is a pretty large flat surface for sleeping or gear. Heres a link to my build.

Hey all, I work for TruckVault. I’m not here to spam, or disparage other products. I just want to provide an outlet for you guys to ask questions about size and fit, materials, and anything else you’d like to ask, which I hope is okay. So if you’re interested in rear storage drawers go ahead and shoot me a PM and I’d be happy to answer any questions you might have, especially since so much of what we do is custom work, having someone to talk to about it can be really helpful.
