Rear door jerry can holder

I am looking to bring in a few of these jerry can holders for the rear door.

I have not seen the Princess Auto version or this version that is above.....

This give me a reason to go to Princess Auto this weekend and look at theirs.

Hi Todd,

The pic of the installed jerry can rack shows a plastic gas can - i.e. not a Jerry can. Will the rack hold the classic Jerry Can?

That would be a perfect way to ruin the rear door hinges prematurely. They are quite weak to begin with. IMO

I was about to post a reply on the exact same subject... since i am closer to venezuela i was actually thinking about buying one and laying out the plans on em for everyone to build them on their own wherever their car is...

Did anything ever happen with this? what was the price on them if it did? ( In Bolivares preferebly). How well are they holding up... i love the idea to carry both things on there... the hi lift and the fuel!

No, nothing happened, I tried several time to contact the fellow with an order for 8 and never received a response.
