Rear cab vents on 79 (1 Viewer)

Just removed the rear cab vents after searching endlessly on the internet couldn’t find anything so thought I’d share this to everyone.

To remove the rear cab vents you need to put pressure with a screwdriver at the top frount part of the cab vent then that should pop, then lift the vent up and that should free up that the 2 frount clips then just slide the cab vent back and it will pop the last clips off the back.

Found this out after snapping one side.

Do the vents have a rubber flapper seal that allows air to flow out but not in?

Following this, as I think my rubber seals are stuck. The doors close HARD when the windows are up.

My cab vents on my Ute don’t have any kind of rubber flapper seals, it’s just open and the doors still are hard to close if I don’t crack a window open
