Rear AC Control From Driver Seat

Why can I not turn off/on the rear AC with the "rear" button on my control panel in the front of the vehicle?
The button is lit when the air is turned on from the back, but if I push that button nothing happens.

What am I missing?

The rear button on the dash basically just "activates" the second row controls and does whatever they're set to.

Doesn't matter what the rear console in the ceiling is set to, the button on the front dash should turn the rear on or off. I'm guessing you need to pull the button and clean the back side of it.

I prefer to leave it dirty and play the game of "who has the magic touch" with my wife. Wow that did sound dirty.

With my own wife. Not with yours*
