Inviting expressions of interest for reproduction of Upper and Lower Thermostat Housings early?
I have enquired to a couple of local Businesses to get Molds made and these Housings Cast and Machined.
Initial process likely to be expensive so wanting to determine what likely demand there is and feedback on what 'Mudders' think would be a fair unit Price?

I got this if you need a paten.

here is the first Sample unit.
Turned out really well.
Cast in AA601 (Australian Standard) Aluminium.
There are a few issues to resolve. Hole centres and a small dimple in the top of the Housing. Already sorted.
If you would like one of these?, p.m. me.
I intend to order only what has been requested. i.e. I'm not intending to carry stock.
It's been an expensive exercise and time consuming.
Fyi, should be available late February.
Unit price is $150 USD.

Hate to see you stuck with these... maybe you can sell them on consignment with racer?

I don’t know if he does that type of thing... maybe he’d buy a few at cost ... just throwing that out there

Thanks Johnny C.

I assumed that these would be popular. I assumed wrong. My risk. These things happen, in the World of Car restoration!?

Hi Andy - I commented in one of you FS threads (can't recall which one right off) on these about being interested but never heard from you.

Cheers!
Jon
