Shortly after we ended up on another super tilty trail. Luckily, we had awesome spotting and everyone made it through ok.

Thanks for the great pictures and awesome writeup!!!!!! Nice shots on trail 10, too. Been awhile since I've done in it in that direction...………...

Had a great time saturday with all the guys. Got a little bruised but it was a great day. Didn't get many pics and have a couple vids from trail "J" but their at the end of it since I had to clean my shorts and everyone was at the bottom by the time I was done. Lol.

Thanks @surfishjoe @DrTOGfather @gearwrench @Cass007 for a great day. I'm glad everyone got thru safe and had fun. Nothing makes you feel more alive than feeling your heart beating in your chest! I can't express how great everyone is in this club. I have never once met someone that wasn't cool as s***. Can't wait till the next meet.

That was Joe, the protective ring around the plug wasn't allowing the socket to seat properly because it was deformed from dragging over rocks, so he resorted to the chisel and hammer in an attempt to get it tight. We had proper tools with us, just not a dremmel or mini grinder.

Whatever gets the job done, but it's just a funny scene to imagine. I've been guilty of similar acts, even if it meant taking tens steps to grab the proper tool. Almost anything can be a hammer...

Guilty but it wasn’t a claw hammer and chisel. It was my a small BFH and a broken large flat head screwdriver that I use to pop out CV axles. I did get my 24mm to grab when I got home w said hammer. It was in pretty tight I may add.

the protective ring is ground down to the point that the plug is exposed that’s why I keep having issues.

I ordered a low profile round drain plug that uses a 10mm Allen wrench going to try that

Did you lose much fluid?
No if I did lose fluid it wasn’t minimal, fluid came out fine with no signs of water intrusion.
