CHAS404 ....... "I have spoken with Andres and can not vouch for him as I have not purchased from him yet."

Perhaps the most interesting reference or lack thereof I have ever seen.

[COLOR=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]Good afternoon to all the participants of this forum, many things have been said about this truck but the real owner of the truck has never spoken. Well, after much research and by coincidence we located and purchased the truck in Bucaramanga Colombia.
Per this forum it is my understanding that Andres was helping the owner sell this truck, but the owner also had placed an ad on the internet for the truck and that is how we came to it.

This is going to be our third project, we already restored and imported a 1982 bj43 which sold in December, we are finishing a 1982 FJ43 that is going to be completed in around 10 days.

The 1984 BJ43 is a true rarety, the BJ43 saw very limited production, just to give you an idea our 1982 BJ43 has chassis number BJ43004804 and this 1984 has chassis BJ43005023!!

With the vehicle we received very valuable documentation such as the original BILL OF LADING, where we can see the truck embarked in Nagoya Japan in Oct 31/1984.

I am attaching a copy of the Colombian registration where the owner is our Colombian subsidiary IPSA LTDA., proving our ownership of the truck. Truck is now inbound to our workshop in Bogota...

This is a list of most of the work we will be performing

I wanted to share with you some pictures of the BJ43,

Being an end model of a very limited number of BJ43 produced, this Land Cruiser deserves to be treated very carefully and to have a better life than the one it had before, we intend to import to one of the nicest BJ43s with all problems sorted out and invite anyone interested in seeing and inspecting our final result to our warehouse in Miami once the work is finished.

Here are some pictures of the disassembly and progress of the restoration .

I will be posting more pictures as work progresses

Regards,

Alejandro
