I have one off a 40 that I don't need any more. Are the mounts enough similar? I can post a picture if you want. Luke
 
the H55F was never sold in the US, not sure if one from a Canadian bj42 would work. Also you might want to give Spector a call, Marv hooked me up with my H55 top plate from a AUssie bj42.
 
My friend is selling his project vehicle(not enough time or money) and he has a aqualu aluminum tub but it is extended 20 inches longer. If you are interested fire me a mail and you can get in contact with him.

x member under a BJ42 with a H55f is just like the one that holds up a h42 in a 80-84 60 series. I'd use one of those and adjust it to suit the width of the frame rails where you happen to be mounting it. It'll look and act like it was factory.

Not EXACTLY the same but damn close!! I, as well as "jzilla" swapped H55's into our '81 and '82 BJ60's and the crossmember for the 4 speed didn't give the front shaft quite enough clearance. You could probably fix it with a BFH if you needed to.
 
I think so but I'm not 100% sure. I did a search and someone posted up that the 2f engines had the alt mounted on the p/s. P/O of mine threw a 2f in my 72 but kept the alt/air/carb from the original f so I need to change it to fit a power steering pump. I've gotten a couple replies from people here with brackets so if you want 1 I can forward their pm's to you. Let me know
 
Wanted: Cummins 4BT Engine

I'm looking for a Cummins 4BT motor in good condition. I do not want a "rebuilder"...

I'm also looking for any of the following tranny's:

NV4500
SM420
SM465

I have a fully rebuilt 2F motor for sale, and would be willing to work a trade if someone was interested.
