Now I understand why I keep seeing your LX at work. I'm in Bldg 820.

I think I saw your rig a month or so ago at Cocina Azul on Montgomery. Coincidentally that's when my search for 100 series started.... Weird right. Once I get mine please let me take you to lunch and pick your brain.
Just curious if you're worried about the rear heater vents causing your new panel to get too hot.
I am about to purchase a Deluxe ARB for my '07 LX. After you cut off the antenna mounts, what did you use to paint the ARB to match the color? This isnt an LX but you can see the two tabs on this bumper (one with an antenna mounted). You'll have to cut those both off entirely with an angle grinder to be able to open the hood on the LX.
Hope this helps.

Nice work, just wondering, what is your number one reason for the fridge in the second row?Started and finished a fridge platform this weekend.

Got my outpost off road opor sliders via freight yesterday! I got them late in the afternoon, but thankfully for daylight savings, I was able to get them cleaned, painted, and mounted before bed time.
Arriving in the truck. Guy had no idea what they were.

I immediately unpackaged them and threw them up on some sawhorses. Thanks to @alia176 for that idea.

All cleaned up and ready for some paint. I went with VHT Epoxy paint as I've used it before on custom built racks and when I put an 8.8 in my heep and always had awesome results.

All painted! I let them bake in what was left of the sun for a few hours then moved them into the garage and mounted them later that evening.
I have to say, overall I would give them a 7 or maybe an 8 out of 10. My biggest peeve was that I had to remove the covers for my AHC accumulators. I also had to cut small bits out of the rear most "skid" plate. I probably would have been okay with that if it was something I was told up front before. Also, not having any directions whatsoever made it more difficult to decide if it was made wrong, or they expected me to make those modifications.
I like them though, they seem very stout and I hope to get to put them to good use.

Hopefully I can get a better photo soon.
@Ramathorn15 .... I just got the MetalTech sliders like yours and attempted to install on my 98 LX. The hardlines for the AHC seem very rigid and in the way. On the drivers side rear, the AHC line transitions from inboard the frame over the top to the outboard side. It does this right where the U-bolt needs to go. I unclipped the AHC line, but can't get enough "flex" to get the plate of the slider onto the bolt. How much can the AHC line bend? I'm terrified to "crease" it or break it (that would probably cost a ton to fix).
Hmm. I'm not 100% sure since its been so long. I do know I only had to pop out the lines and slightly flex them. I believe the way to do it is to slide the U-bolt up the inside frame rail flat against it. Then rotate the ubolt to get the threads to point outward. Hopefully that makes sense. I wouldn't attempt actually bending the lines because, as you said, those types of lines easily crease and you'd turn an hour job into a fiasco.
I can get some photos if you are still having trouble. I know I put all the ubolts on first before attempting to put up the sliders.
Thanks for the quick reply. Yeah, I can get the u-bolts on and the slider onto the bolt, but I can't figure out how to then bend/flex the line so the slider plate can move against the frame rail. I can flex the line a little. But, it doesn't seem I can flex it enough to allow the plate of the slider to get past. I seriously thought the line would be flexible, maybe rubber or braided with rubber coating like a hydraulic brake line on my mountain bikes. I was way off on that assumption. These things feel like straight gauge aluminum tubing similar to the AC lines. Just not certain how much these lines can "flex"
