Nothing Hue could do. I heard through a sports talk radio (had some driving time today) that Davis didn't give hue the authority to make people decions with players and assistant coaches when he was let known a new GM was being searched for. (This happened before the charger vs raider game.) The writing was on the wall for Hue. It wasn't his coaching. He did a respectable job winning that many games his first tear as coach. The new GM wants to bring his boys and surround himself with people he is close to and trusts. Can't blame him for wanting that. Thus Hue is out.
