Anything to hold a tarp down? I bet if you used a regular truck bed net you could stretch it all the way down the sides. Looking really good, as soon as my tax return gets here I'm gonna get mine out for sandblasting and then into the garage until it's done!
 
I would mount the plate above the light as well, cut that thing off and flip it over.
 
Thanks for all the complements, I'm pretty stoked on how it came out myself. I am having a fitted cover made for the bed, it will drop down on the sides about three to four inches with ties attached, (The canvas guy said he does this a lot so the grommets wont bang the sides) once I get the cover it will determine where the D rings go to tie into. Oh yea he is making it off white to blend in with the cruiser top. I was planning on mounting the license plate with hinges under the left tail light

I think the tailgate was roughly 48" to 50" wide I only cut about 1" to 2" off each side.
