Radio Power Issue with Fuses.

Hello Everyone this is going to be a 3 Part Question along with some cosmetic Questions.

Firstly my head unit has gone dead & the antenna power along with the Clock display has no power as well, i read into the forums and checked the 20A Fuse in the Fuse Box and it looked clean coming to the Fuse box in the interior i checked the 15A Cigar Fuse and it was cooked, replaced it with another 15A and it Cooked it immediately, so i put in a 30A Fuse and it worked (i put it very quickly in Accessory mode to check) and it didnt blow it but did for the 15A. I have absolutely no knowledge when it comes to doint electrical work on my 100 Series and very little when it comes to actually fixing other mechanical issues; My point being if anyone knows what could be the problem here, i read some post that someone replaced the 15A with a 20A and it worked for them but again im not sure what the result could be.

Another thing this Rubber Seal in the Engine does anyone know the part number as i cant find anything on it. Im aware the Trim on the windshield is a very common issue on the 100 Series could anyone refer to a thread where i could find some answers on the matter? Much Appreciated Thanks!

Go to the resources section and download your FSM and locate a wiring diagram for your year or one close to it. Start looking at your schematic and see where these circuits can be isolated (unplugged one at a time).

I don't know what year you have, looks like an earlier model. Go to Partsouq.com and put in your VIN number and look in the body/interior section. That seal is readily available and not very expensive. Don't order the little clips as it comes with them already installed.

The window moldings are reuseable. The reason I say that is, they are very expensive (Over $100 each). If they are not in bad shape, then refer to the FSM on how to remove them (It works). You can simply clean them up and then purchase some good 3M double sided tape and reinstall with the factory rivets.
