My apologies for the vagueness of this post. My 2011 with 157K has a hairline crack at that top of the radiator. Any mechanic recommendations around maple valley or Renton WA would be appreciated. Tot fav would be iDealer quoted 1155. Thanks in advance!

Very, very common. 37 pages of discussion here: 2008-2010 Radiator Failure and Public Service Announcement

As for a mechanic, I'll let someone from that area chime in. Make sure they use an OEM radiator. They updated the part to address the problem, and OE is higher quality than most of what you'll find in the aftermarket.

Until then, try to avoid driving it, and especially working it very hard like towing or anything. Absolutely keep an eye on the temp gauge if you elect to drive it to the shop.

x2 on Torfab!

Torfab - they are in Everett. I agree with Greg’s Japanese Auto recommendation in Renton. Good luck!

Following. Let us know which shop you end up using, and the quote you received please.

if you get jammed up on a rad being in stock I have a Denso new sitting in the box. I just haven't gotten around to installing as I want to do h20 pump etc at the same time. I did the overlay patch with FG and epoxy when I thought I saw the hairline..

***Update*** Given I live in Maple Valley and Torfab would be a trek for me and eat up time, I ended up getting it serviced for a few hundred more at my local Toyota Dealer. If I sell it due to a potential work relocation, at least the new owner will rest assured.
