I've been doing some comparing and seems that icon, radflo, etc are all the same however fox is more expensive and requires more frequent maintenance. Someone pls correct me if I'm wrong.

Not specific to your part # but I had a very bad experience with King as a company apart of my rear suspension project on my 100. Its a very long story and save to say I'll never have a King product on any of my vehicles. Their promises don't match reality...'over-promise and under deliver' seems to be their corporate mantra.

Whereas Glenn at Radflo (he's the owner/designer/builder) embraced the project with honesty and integrity. His cost estimate was accurate. His timeline estimate was spot on (inside of 3-weeks to my door with 100% custom shocks). And the valving, based upon our cross collaboration, was/is perfect. Given my project was custom, unique and 1-of a kind, I assumed I'd need to fine tune the valving to suit but that has not born itself out...Glenn knows his s***!

So...King undoubtedly make good products but if you ever need them post-sale or to follow through on their commitments you can, based upon my experiences with them, forgetaboutit.

Relative: My front Fox shocks (2.0 with remotes) have performed to expectation. However apart of the rear suspension project Fox was not able to offer their shocks in the configuration I needed...

I would recommend Glenn and Radflo without reservation based upon my near 2-year usage and experiences with him and his company.

In the last year, King has cleaned up their customer service SUBSTANTIALLY. Prior to this year, yes, issues...they were not ready for the demand the that their oem line would place on the business.

Decisions, decisions....

1) I would not wast my money on the OME. The ride is much stiffer and bouncier and you will wish you spent a little extra on the radflo or king.

2) if you are trying to save a little money i would definitely go with radflo - there really is no downside.

3) the main reason i went with king is that i cheeped out and went with the OME first and decided i was all in the second time around. My experience with king was very good. They built my set in about 2 days and had them to me in 5. The folks i talked to were very helpful and knowledgable.

If i were to do things over again, i would probably go with radflo to save a little and their is something to be said about the simplicity of a non-remote reservoir. The remote reservoir is hard to locate without interfering with something else.....the 200 has a lot of suspension parts moving relative to one another and the frame. I have had to make several adjustments to get things right.

how does radflo perform vs ome nitrocharged sport?

Apples to oranges comparison IMO.
OME shocks ride like crap on road and are marginal offroad.

I have been very happy with my Radflo 2.5" shocks.

any advantage in longevity between the two? compared OME?

perfect choice.

Question #1. Yes a little bit - maybe 20mm in rear at most even with factory springs. (Consider adding bags if you want more when loaded up.)
Question #2. Up front go for 16inch x 700 lb/ft coils rather than the 14inch coils and you will get between 1-3" extra ride height depending on how much preload you dial up.

Dont forget your UCAs

Do I really need UCAs if I'm looking at a 2.5" lift up front?

I'm debating between this Radflo kit v. Icon fronts with OME rears. I hear the ICONs are more comfortable and that's what I need as my LC will spend most of its life in the urban sprawl. I also don't want a saggy rear end due to the front-end lift.

Vielen dank.

ICON makes a rear shock to match with their front coil overs. They are more plush than the Radflos. You won't be disappointed for your intended purpose. I would highly recommend doing the UCAs...if you want 2.5" of lift, the UCAs will allow for better articulation and easier alignment. To finish it off, I would hunt down regular rate springs for the back with a wee bit of lift, it won't be saggy at all (unless you load it to the max).

when you mention "plush" are you referring to the siffness? from the research i did when preparing to build my LC, i was under the impression that they were virtually identical

I have king 3.0 smoothies on the front and 3.0 quadruple bypasses on the rear of my HD Ram. The real magic come from having the valving stacks and piston heads custom tuned by someone that really knows how to tune for your particular vehicle. I am shopping for either a 100 or 200 right now, and plan on going with kings again.

Don Thuren is a maestro at matching King and Fox shocks with appropriate spring rates, he will most likely be who I have valve for me when the time comes.

Well I guess I should chime in here being that I have King's.

I had kings installed about a year ago. Was completely happy with them...then she started making noise.

EVERYTIME I hit any type of uneven road, a small bump, someone heavy gets in my truck, ANYTHING that makes those shocks move at all, it sounds like a creaky old man. Seriously, it makes it terrible to drive. It FEELS perfectly fine, there are no ride issues....it just doesn't sound good at all.

I have called king, and being that I was their test truck and they custom made these for me, I would think they would care alot more then they do. They told me a 90 day warranty and that was it. I said ok can I bring her down (they are 2 hours from me) . Nope, I need to remove all 4 and send them in. Should take 7-10 to figure out and fix. Now I am at a loss as to what I want to do.

Just wondering if it is cheaper and easier to just buy a set of radlo's and start over. At least with Glenn I know I can get someone how cares on the phone.

Sigh....
