Is Radd Cruisers gone? Drove by and it's deserted...

Very odd. I'm sure there's more to this story. I did see a bunch of bins out front being filled with things...

Closed up, moved containers to Kamloops. Will look at starting up smaller, more defined shop.
If you need anything he is taking calls on his cell phone. If anyone needs that, let me know.

Shop is closed. Radd Cruisers still exists and the online parts store with it, but as cruiserpilot mentioned, John's relocating so parts and such may not be as readily available at this point until he is finished relocating. But don't hesitate to call John directly if you have questions or need parts.

For those of you who aren't Facebook users, you may have been missing out on some pretty good deals that John has posted over the last month...just sayin.

Well, John, It's been a long time since we crossed paths. I'd like to wish you all the best in your new venture.

Well then.

I was going to stop in for a thermostat, you saved me a wasted trip.

I just ordered a oem thermostat and gasket from these guys. 1985 Toyota Land Cruiser 3400CC DIESEL, MANUAL, 5-SPEED Parts | Toyota Parts Direct It was in my hands in 3 days almost half the price of the dealership.

Too bad about the move. It was nice to have a local shop.

I get home on the weekend. I don't FB. I'll phone you and see what is going on, I might want a couple of bits.

As best as I can recall, the online store hasn't been up and running for a while. It was down when I was stranded
in Yukon early Sept.

I'll give them a try. I usually get into some sort of antagonistic existential debate about my truck when I try the dealer.

Parking it within view of parts desk and pointing at it still doesn't convince them Toyota ever built it.

Was nice having a local shop. Sometimes you just want to buy a part today across a counter.

Hey guys, John just posted this on Facebook in case you're interested...I'd say if you're looking for some used parts this might be a good opportunity.

I'm going to be stripping these two beauties on Saturday around lunch time outside Radd Cruisers in Duncan.

One is a 1985 HJ61 and the other is a 1988-ish.

Mostly body panels - some of which are quite good, wiring harnesses and electrical, lots and lots of glass, a few 80 Series tail gates, and other items are there too like PTO winches (I have gear boxes and shifters for sale separately.

There's a set of 5 split rims still here too.

Plus, if you come by, you can have a look at what else I have stored here. It's all for sale at very fair prices.

Parts from $1 up.

Bring your own tools, cutting discs and grinders, safety equipment etc.

Do you know if he has a PTO gear box for a "74 Fj40 T-Case"?
