This is from the ad that comes up for the quiz thing.... can you remove this "advertiser"? It's borderline spam in that they try to trick you into a monthly subscription... this is their fine print:

Summary of Terms

Welcome to the Puzzle IQ Quiz! After completing the quiz, we will calculate your score and ask you to enter your cell phone number to gain access to your puzzle IQ results as well as a mobile content subscription. Depending on your carrier and cell phone manufacturer, the mobile content may include ringtones, games, wallpapers, or fun text messages. This content ranges from $9.99 - $19.99 per month and will be sent to your cell. Fees are charged to your monthly wireless bill or deducted from your pre-paid account, message and data rates may apply. Verizon Wireless and other carriers are eligible for this offer. Sprint users will get Unlimited Trivia Games for $14.99 per month and can cancel by replying STOP to any message. Alltel users offered SoLow will receive 20 guesses/game/day for $9.99 monthly subscription. For Alltel & Verizon Wireless users, text STOP to 23687 to cancel your service. If you\'re returning to our site and want information on how to stop service follow this Unsubscribe link.

when/where do you catch that one?

As a Silver Star member, you should see almost no advertising...upper right 468x60 and two other locations you can switch off in your User CP...unless you aren't logged in :)

I see it BEFORE I enter my username and password to log in... it's "officialquiz.com"

It is often a picture that says "is this fake?" or "how many eye?" and wants you to click to answer, then it wants you to send a cell phone text to get the answer... resulting in you subscribing with billing to your cell phone account...

I edited pretty fast.

I found it (as you said) in the User CP under: Settings and Options - Edit Options - Thread Display Options. Check the boxes for 1) Advertising: Google and 2) Advertising: Quick Reply Cloud
