40 series? that is not a stock column.
looks like you'll need to disconnect the rag joint and the unit should pull out into the cab

It’s a steering column from like an 84 runner
I just a new column for my year... rag joint? Meaning

Disconnected rag joint ... took off bolts on inner side triangular firewall attachment & shroud. Question 🙋 - do I need to prybar at the shroud to free it off firewall or is there a disconnect in the steering column to let go of that larger side in engine compartment trying to pull through?
