Quick PCV question….direction….??

Just want to make sure I put this in the proper way…the airflow should be going away from the carb and towards the oil fill, correct?

The other way stops airflow (away from the crankcase to the carb).

Can someone please confirm?? Thanks in advance!!

Edit in case anyone else sees this later on: My description above is incorrect….air flow should be open from crank case to the carb.

Youve got it backwards.
Airflow should allow pressure to go from the crankcase to the carb.
