You don't have to worry about scheduling with "the man" any more do you?!

He decided to be self employed, you should try it... ;)

I'm going to give it some serious consideration, just to be like Tony.

Like a freshly shorn scrotum, Walter, I highly suggest you try it, you'll like it.
I figured the parts of him we don't always see are hairless like the ones we do always see.

Just seen today that Great Smokey Mountain Trail Ride (gsmtr) is at Windrock the weekend we are planing for PYS.
It is a Toyota event that we use to go to Telico with, but it means a crowd.

I do believe it is a TLCA event and therefore stupid.

I get the feeling from the ones going for the whole trip that a West trip may be too much driving (understandable).

So, KY/TN or Flat Nasty.

I love FN and am never really bored of it, and Scott has never floated the river, but I know we have gone there a lot and understand seeing new places. We didn't really get a good look at Windrock and never made it to AOP....

Thoughts?

AOP would be boring for more than a few days, pretty small but fun park. But there is like 4 other parks down in that area.

I like flat nasty especially because of the doing what we want with little to no neighbors. I would be interested in Tennessee/Kentucky again too.

Who is in for the week? Jeremy & Co., Me & Co., Scott, Tony, Mark?

I'm planning on all week.

I have no problem with FN.
I also would consider AOP till we get bored, then head for Harlin, or other nearby parks.
Windrock could still be doable, just may have to deal with a crowd.

I'm in. FN is wonderful. Harlan was awesome too and would go through TN as well. I do miss the river float though.

Are these outings not 100 series friendly?

Depends. I took a stock 80 series 10 years ago on 33s, left with some damage, and returned the next year on 37's. And I avoided a number of the harder obstacles on the trails. There are trails you can run, but they won't be what this group is aiming for.

I will plan to make the first weekend and possibly a weekday or two, and if I make it will have a right seat available.

To sum up, no.

I'm in for a week (probs fri to fri) and my vote is FN although I'd go where ever the group goes.
