Help please!!! I have never seen this paneling on interior of an FJ40 so i presume it is custom. However, the perfect and seamless fittings make it appear like it was done at a factory or by a conversion company. Any thoughts?? I would be thankful for any input.

Not criticizing, but looking at the edges of the piece in the second photo seems a bit rough. I'd say someone applied beaded board plywood. Certainly took them some time, but I'd say it was an individual work.

Again, from the middle piece in the second picture, that certainly isn't done on a CNC.

Based on the uneveness of the edges in the second picture I am quite confident they are individual (solid) beaded moulding strips. You can buy the same stuff from the big box stores or millwork companies in various widths and thicknesses.

I love it :) could have been done on a cnc machine.

Yes, a cnc would make quick work of getting a perfect fit if a guy wanted to run production. Even a cheap pin router would work fine, just not quite as fast.

Taking another closer look at that picture, you're right. You can actually see the tongue and groove joints in the pieces at the bottom of the door.

Wondering how much extra weight that added. With the amount of wood on the outside, you should panel the outside like a traditional Woody...

Yes this is how it was offered originally. It is factory and was special order only, it was called the Norm Abrams New Yankee model. Resale of these gems with the original wooden wheels yields major smackeroos.
