We love it...very clean from swanky Bellevue WA where it was serviced at Lexus most of its life and clean, rust free everywhere.
Tires were toast getting new today....one key only- so does anyone have experience with getting keys made, I'm guessing its not cheap?

Timing belt done, no axle leak or tranny leaks. I'm hoping my wife can drive it stress free for a few years and Ill take over with a build and get her something newer. I hope by the time I get to play with it you guys continue to pioneer the after-market mods and ideas. Until then ill be lurking occasionally and driving the ol 80 series.

I used Summit Auto haulers whom are on the mudship board. Great experience, competitive pricing and good communication. Me and the driver ended up talking for a long time and after just driving our GX on and off the truck he had a million questions and wants one too lol

After breaking two OEM keys I bought the bullet and had two eternity keys cut at the dealer, cost was around $90 ea IIRC. The costly item with a second key is the remote, an oem from the dealer is pretty expensive.

About - Eternity Key
I have never seen those. That is awesome.

@Toyoland66 - thx for Eternity Key note, also never heard of that.

Is the ~$90 each price you noted for CUT keys or just the raw, stronger blanks? A replacement key from a local dealer here in Az was quoted to me at over $300 for one (true story). Will call around but thx again for sharing this....

That price included cutting, I got them at the local dealer parts dept. The quote of $300 for an oem key sounds like going rate, that includes the remote guts. The eternity key is just the shell, you have to swap over the remote guts from your existing key.

You can buy a denso key for the remote portion, you have to have it programmed by a locksmith or by the dealer.

Jeremy, what did you pay for it? I live in the Seattle area and seems like all the GX470's are overpriced.

Congrats on the new to you GX

In the PHX area I got a switch blade key cut and a second one for $200 with programming.

Back in 2012 I had a new Jeep Rubicon that I wanted extra keys for it, Went to Heights Key Lock & Safe at
920 San Mateo Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. Made me up 2 keys and programmed for a really good price, don't remember the cost, but I thought it was really good.

I think I got a pretty good deal at $13500.
My friend is a buyer there and actually got it off craigslist from second owner in Oregon. Original owner and most service records are Bellvue lexus. Middle aged woman, still had Taylor Swift in the CD changer lol. He could have got it to me cheaper he said but he had already sold it to a car lot owner/partner and had to buy it back, they were asking 14.8k
It needed tires and has one key but belt is done and immaculate engine bay, no rust as mentioned and we'll taken care of. Mileage is 135.

Just paid 200 at Lexus of Tacoma for all new master key including cutting, programing, new remote and tax.
