Pull the engine, or no...?

Many many threads out there where folks find the original cross hatching on the cylinder bores in the block. No need to buy a new short block unless its personal preference. My rebuild was at 285k miles and have 320k miles now. I did a engine refresh and all seals with engine in the truck. I was able to remove both oil pans as well and reseal.
No matter what, I don't intend to buy a new short block. Nowhere in this thread was that mentioned. My most recent question asked if there was anything I should be concerned about with the transmission and the transfer case while I have everything out. :oops:

Post 12 option mentioned it as an opinion.Thought I would share different.
