Wrapped up a Land Rover Disco project and have always had my eye on FJ40s, so I finally decided to take the leap and picked one up last year and now getting around to it.
It’s definitely a bit of a mutt. Early ‘65 frame/body, later 2F drivetrain, lifted, and looks like a mix of later 70s/80s parts. I’m still figuring out exactly what all I have.
I do have a question about the "upper" front brake hose... I've bought at least 4 different hoses and none fit, they've either been too short and the fittings don't match. The hard brake line from the firewall appears to be standard sizing and the fitting at the brake junction block also appears standard but I'm not having any luck. Any thoughts or help would be immense.
Front disk brakes, 2" lift.
