Nice looking 200!!! I think I remember reading awhile back that Slee had posted 33.7 was about the max diameter you can go before ya hit the KDSS bar and have to relocate that. The other real concern as you creep towards a true 35 becomes hitting the fender while it's flexed if you don't have larger bump stops installed.I think that size may be the perfect compromise this side of 35's...& without feeling the need for a gear swap.
I can see this. All I've done so far is eliminate rub at lock on flat surfaces, forward and reverse. We'll see what happens on some uneven surfaces.Nice looking 200!!! front and rear forsure! actual lift height, wheel offset, wheel spacers and such will affect "the tuck" also so lots of variables to consider...Ya, I think you're right about the size limit. That's why I'm curious about actual mounted size. Tiresize.com lists it at 33.86, but that's on an 8" rim. Plus...that is not likely the real number.
Ken, are you thinking of full stuff on rear, front or both?
That would be a good test for the OO. Jack it up under one tire and check full stuff...
Took a tape measurement to the tires. They show 33.5".
Yes, there was rubbing with the tires. Had to remove the mud flaps and spend about 30 minutes this morning on the inner wheel skirts with a dremel and some nippers. Nothing crazy but my wheel skirts now look like @usmcHOG

Just measured my 285/70 R18's on a 9 inch rim (9 o'clock to 3 o'clock) is exactly 33 inches.Ya, I think you're right about the size limit. That's why I'm curious about actual mounted size.
EDIT: Ooo... I just noticed his measurement at 33.5! That's just about perfect.

and the rears stuffed...

The track width difference between my 9 inch wheel with a 20mm offset and your 8 inch wheel with a 50mm offset and 1.25 inch spacers is about 11mm. Shape of the tread and actual tire width will also play a roll in your "tuck". @Willy beamin is rolling larger bumpstops and does not have wheel spacers, both of which allow him to run 35's.Wow. So... Hmmm... How close in track width and fan arc are your 20mm offset wheels compared to 50mm offset RW's plus 1.25" spacers?
Also wonder about the shape of the tread. From the photos, those Ridge Grapplers appear rather square-ish. If so, that might make it even more prone to stuffing issues. Super curious now!
Willy's got 35's on Rock Warriors. Wonder if he HAS to have that deeper wheel (50mm, no spacers) to make it in back. But I'm curious how they make it given that your 33's are SO close to your wells.
awesome looking dog!!!Tomorrow, if I can get away from this terror, I'll try and get some flex shot and research on what tick issues I run into.

Still photos of puppies are deceiving...thing doesn't stop.awesome looking dog!!!
@Willy beamin , I've got about 800 miles on the tires so far, commuting 90% highway for the last two weeks. Still very happy with the tires. Noise level is similar to terra grapplers and hardly noticeable to me. Ride and road manners are also great. Running 37-38 PSI currently.I'm planning on picking up those ridge grapplers as my road tires this spring
So I'm very interested in what your perception is of them, noise and manors.
Thanks man great start!
