i love it. whats next on the long list?

Next is building the exhaust system, radiator mounts, mocking up the AC/heater unit, and starting the suspension. I need to but my tires and wheels but not what to buy yet. I need to start thinking about the color. Tan is my first choice.

Gary, are yall working on that at your place?

Couldn't help but notice the SYF sticker on the tool box. Sweet :grinpimp:

This part of the truck is being built at a buddies shop called JK Customs. Jason is responsible for Nolens last Kate project. He is very good at tube work and 5 times faster than me. Its coming back to my place this weekend.

very cool. i was expecting it to be just red but i guess too many are red these days like nolen and woody. personally i would go with a dark blue color... but i am partial to my own trucks color.

so come on page 6...

yay

dude bad ass project, much props, hope all turns out well and cant wait to see how it turns out

Gary, you using a newer windshield frame or the old one with the vent and seperate wiper motors in it? If using the old school one will that cage come close or clear? That's a really cool cage for a 45.. I've been just mulling over options to put a cage inside mine and someplace to mount seatbelts as well.. Gotta have new seatbelts..

Here are some better pics of the fender mods and cage. It looks a little silly with the 265s on it but 40s are on the way.

Bought the tires today. 13.50/40/17s MTRs. Also got a huge amount of work done on the brakes, fuel lines, and steering column. I removed all of the ABS system including the ABS pump and all redundant brake lines. It is now a simple 4 wheel disc brake setup with emergency brake. The steering column is in and tomorrow I hope to have the firewall support cut to fit the booster and get it all mounted up. The fuel tanks is being made (24 gallons) and the radiator brackets should be done by the weekend. The cab will come back off and all holes not needed will be welded up. Then all the body parts will go to the chemical strippers to be dipped. It will get galvanised then primed. Next on the list is, I need to find a seat of some sort. I want a bench so I can sit the 3 of us when needed, and have 54" to work with. If anyone has a mid size truck that can get me some measurements, it will help on narrowing down the search.
