Tony,

Nice find on the top and the bed!
I assuming you found these at SOR ?
Keep an eye open for a headache rack for me too!

Ken, Tony is lucky Craigs head is screwed on crooked, because that WAS Craigs top!I think the lids are the hardest thing to find for a 45.Maybe I should'nt have hit him with a mag light when he said he was selling it...YT

HAHA, I asked him a couple of times if he was sure he wanted to sell it.

Ken,

No, I did not get the bed from Marv.

WOW !!!! Thats awsome Brother . Looks like I will have to make a side trip over to the house. Keep up the good work , make up a wish list and get it posted

After a lot of shuffling stuff around in the garage, I made enough room to get the bed on the 45. I have to say it is very colorful, and if you count the colors you can tell how many 45's are grafted together to make mine whole again.

Here is the pic of the dash. The only switches I have are Wipers, Lights, Choke (is this original?) what else am I missing from the dash? You can see the outline of the missing defroster ducts I need as well. The red and blue toggle switches and the 2 under dash gauges are coming out.

Thanks again to FJBen for the grab bar :)

krzyabncanuck,

I followed your build, nice work!!!!! Do you have the contact info for for the maker of your headache rack. I read it was an after market unit.

Found a few more "parts" I needed, 3 latches (need 1 more) and 4 j-hooks for the windshield frame to roof panel. Every little bit helps. :grinpimp:

I just received the last, almost non-existent, parts for my hard top. Christmas came a little later for me :grinpimp: but it was well worth the wait.

HO HO HO Kellyo!!!!!

Thanks dr_claw :)

nice job, she's a beaut.

i gotta say those rust spots under the paint on that bed would make me feel somewhat uneasy.

Having gone through the trouble of finding all the pieces to put this project together, I am done with it. Last weekend I sold the bed, and now the cab, top and frame are going this weekend. The truck is going to great home and will be getting a full frame off restoration. It is unfortunate I could not get started on this one as I already have 2 projects going and then the addition of another 45 (running and driving) I have run out of room. Something had to go and it is this project. "Stubby" out!
