I love Wheelin my 80
SILVER Star
Get those long E-locker splines turned down in the middle so you can get the axle out after you twist it with that 4BT powerrrr
Or go with RCV axles the have done already.
got some work done since the last post. Axle is done and in, shaft is on the way to
@GLTHFJ60 to get turned down. No more u bolts on this sucker. Op angle is as good as it gets and the driveshaft will be happy.
Few things happened in past two weeks. My guy
@GLTHFJ60 got the axle shaft turned down to avoid stuck shaft due to twisting. Went ahead and upgraded to Fj80 1in MC and front calipers to 4Runner. Pedal was going down to the floor because of the proportioning. Also fit a parallel condenser with intercooler and grill. Trying to get the ac fixed by this summer.
Well, as expected I’m finally getting to updating this thread. I guess better late than never. Since April I been wheeling quite a few times and got some goodies installed. Got some diesel speed hut gauges and trail tailor bezel in. Also adapted 2004 6bt ac bracket. Compressor is in, made some ac lines and got it all hooked up. Picked up a cool air compressor from 6bt out of a Blue bird bus. It got a power steering pump on the back and supposedly produces 12cfms. Gonna figure out a way to get it fit in the 60.
