I'll post pics of the windshield frame later.
I still have to sand down a bit of bondo..

BTW, it is not a woring issue to the DS front turn signal, it is that I have no freaking idea where it went. The whole turn signal is missing ;)

Anyone happen to have one??? :D

Use hand signals:flipoff2:

Paint is put off so I c an actually drive the damn thing.

Getting schedules in time was getting stupid complicated.

Also since it will be done outside, I was waiting for it to warm up a bit.

Like I said man, clean the garage
Need any help I got nothing to do for now. (if so just call me)

:D

Passed the DMV smog guys!!!!

All I have to do is smog it and it can be registered!!!

Now I need to start figuring out how to make the 60 quieter on the inside. The worst culprit is the fuel pump. The inside tank and electric pump are NOISY.. But I really do not want to use something sticky or a spray on coating on the tank, it is much too pretty for that ;)

Ideas for noise supression "blankets"
??

You could always build a plexiglass chamber for it, maybe run some neon to showcase your tank like the audio guys do with their amps. ;p

Are you going to run carpet in Bob? If you don't mine covering it you could build a little box that goes over it and insulate that box. That way the tank will stay clean and you can still show it off...maybe with some hydraulic struts and a little bit of smoke for effect when you open it...there I go digressing again.

I like your thinkin!!!

(I think I am gonna try to make a blanket out of the closed cell AL looking bubble wrap and see how much that deadens the sound)

and yes, I am going to run some sort of carpet back there.

BTW, I am going to put stuff on it. So identification of stuff that is more resistant to being crushed is important ;)

Sound products of interest. Best bet is to call them up, tell 'em what you're trying to do and see what they recommend:

HamiltonJet Noise and Vibration Control Products

Barrier155
WB10

Luxury Liner - Acoustic Noise Barrier and Insulation Barrier

Luxury liner pro is probably the best

Both of these could be used to line a box that would cover the fuel tank and then you could just cover the box with carpet like the rest of the interior... or padded leather like you see on the older jet boats with some bright stiching...ok I promise that's all.

It is pretty, but I would not listen to that s*** just to show off the only bling on it :)

Build a box around it out of wood like a drawer system and that way you can stack s*** on top of it.

You are not kidding at how annoying that sound is...

It's cool to drive, but long trips I'll have to turn the stereo up loud enough to make myself go deaf trying to overcome that annoying buzz...

The tank itself has so many freaking baffles that I am not overly concerned about stacking on top of it.

I keep looking around for some of that closed cell foam that they use for pool floaties :)

Brown showed up with a leveling kit for the front :D

OME heavies :D
