Got my set of four on eBay. Check to make sure they are genuine if you are paying up….check the margins and color of paper.
Two of mine are original and two are Toyota reprint with not a great margin, which is why I got a good deal..

That's a lot of paper...I just print what I need when I need it.

I needed (wanted) the out of print EWD342F wiring diagram for my GCC spec LC. I ended up sending the PDF to lulu.com and printing it there. Haven't received it yet, and I know in the PDF some of the pages are out of order. Once I get it, I'll probably fix the PDF and reprint. Cost me $45. I printed it as a "yearbook" to get the paper cover and 8.5 x 11 sizing.

Yes, but you will never find every mention of a particular topic or item searching by eye. I know, I do this for a living. PDF is the only way to find every instance. You can read all you want from there.

Additionally, you can annotate a PDf without writing all over your very expensive and no longer available printed manual pages. And you can serch your notes, just like the text.
