Anyone have a towel or a moist towelette, or a clean pair of drawers I can borrow?

Looks like an awesome time, how about more than a 24hr heads up next event Tom:rolleyes::flipoff2:

I threw the idea out around the campfire and got no bites.
They were calling this a one time event.
I did buy a $35 2 hr video of the day with interviews of owners.

One highlight of the day was of myself and a buddy that drag raced our Rangers down the run way right after the Dueseys finished.
Too the smatering of cheers from the crowd, I won......twice!!

Funny I sat next to you and never heard jack!

Ill be going to the Auburn Cord Duesenburg Museum in Auburn IN probably in October sometime, if anyone wants to come. right now its just me and Joe, I bet we can get him to shot gun some beers....

Its frustrating to see a duesey in person....to realize that american auto manufacturing peaked in the 1920's, and to wonder what american autos could have been if the big 3 didnt buy out the hundreds and hundreds of US auto manufactures....:meh:

Watch episode 6 of this season's Top Gear. It's really sad to hear them talk about what the UK was, what it became and what it is now.

We are just a few years removed from being where they are now, no domestically owned auto companies, a recent heritage of building garbage, and a workforce that doesn't make anything.

I specifically remember saying "Hey John blah blah", you were sitting on the other side of the fire at the time. I directed it at you cuz I knew you liked these machines. I got somewhat of a :meh:.
I think the Captain and Jack were kicking in at the time.

The green Duesey I posted, sold over the weekend at the auction for $1,000,000. Yes, that's One Mil. Some dude from Ohio bought it.

Lemme know when you chaps plan to come this way. I could save my pennies for some Busch Light.:)

The first one reminds me of one I saw on an auction on tv when I was 12/13 years old. It was a '32 SJ that sold for $1.2 million.

Very cool!

Really enjoyed the pics tom. Thanks.

Blah, Blah, Blah...Douche-n-booger, whatever....Blah, blah, blah...***in buncha old ladies

I'm in for the museum thing just for the party & to watch Joe do some shot-guns.

Might be fun to watch you ladies get your vaginas moist over some old piles of craptastic junk that would be better off recycled

But , Hey, you know me, open minded guy that i am, I just might be able to have some fun too.
I mean one of 'em could blow up setting off a chain reaction that would cause all the rest of to go.

By the way wasn't it Brian fine Whine that tried to use this forum for his own Buick enjoyment once? kinda reminds me of that here with this dusenfaggot thing yous guys got goin on
I'm just sayin.

Tony, once again, your tolerance for others shines like a 2 watt bulb!:hillbilly:
