This may interest some one, who wants their electric hubs converted to manual,
I had an enquire about Hub Conversions from Namibia, We decided that the freight cost of sending the complete end caps @ 1.4kg, is the killer of doing these conversions for guys that live overseas.
So I put together an instruction sheet ( emailed ) with Photo’s of how to dismantle the Hub bodies and End caps right down to the two alloy end castings which is the only part I need to jig up and press in a grease seal, Weighing only .350kg, this keeps the freight cost to the bare minimum.
I then modified and returned them with the rest of the parts ( courier post ) which weighed .640kg.
If this is of interest , PM or email me, Thanks.
I have put a Video Clip on youtube for the timing of the end caps, under ( oldblue hub conversions )
