Hi all,

Discussing a potential purchase of a 1994 Prado and wanted this forum's collective feedback on some pics I just got.

Understanding the age of the vehicle and unknown provenance, I understand some rusting, I just don't know what is too much or what is acceptable. The below seems ok for 200k KM, but I don’t know if these are the parts I’d normally see some corrosion on.

Also, keep in mind that this is basically stock from my understanding, so which of these parts would be swapped out as part of regular maintenance or as an upgrade (like the suspension)?

Thanks for any guidance!

Where is the truck from?

The pics look fairly clean.

Being from the northeast, rust is a major concern. A 25 yo truck would have plenty.

That looks great to me. Any cleaner looking would mean someone has probably painted it recently.

Thanks, both!

It's currently in The Southeast and I believe was just recently imported based on the year and vehicle condition (interior is a little dingy, no head unit, etc). Seems ready for very little TLC and it will be road ready!
